By connecting an impact-resistant synthetic core with a hard and weatherproof acrylic surface, an ideal material for public street furniture is formed. Synthetic battens and legs made of galvanised or powder-coated steel as well as aluminium cast legs guarantee a high quality over many years:

• The surface is self-cleaning since dirt particles scarcely stick to the even acrylic surface. Persistent dirt can be removed easily with a cloth, water and household detergents. Even graffiti can be removed with white gas or turpentine (no acetone necessary).
• Since the surface does not absorb precipitation, but rather lets water pearl off, this outdoor furniture dries very quickly and is therefore always usable.
• It is not necessary to disassemble and store street furniture with an acrylic surface over winter time, because it is absolutely weather resistant. Even salt water or road salt cannot harm the furniture.
• Test series regarding the UV light resistance showed that the colour surface, even though exposed to weather for years, does not get damaged. The synthetic profiles do not contain any plasticisers which could volatilise.
• The seating comfort of benches with an acrylic surface is comparable to benches with a wooden surface. It quickly adapts the body temperature and provides a warm, comfy seating feeling.
• The acrylic surface allows a great colour selection.
• If the synthetic profiles should get unusable, e.g. by mechanical destruction, they become part of the sustainable cycle of potential recyclables.
